  • Description
  • Technical Specification

Lift-It Marine Slings have long been the “standard” for marine users around the world.  Lift-It Marine Slings are manufactured from heavy duty nylon or polyester webbing that has been treated for abrasion resistance.

Sling models range in width from 4 to 12 inches with available basket work load limits of 9600 lbs. to 60,000 lbs.

Choice of Materials  Nylon or polyester – Nylon stretches 6% at work load limit and looses approximately 15% of the assigned work load limit when wet. Polyester stretches 3% at work load limit and maintains 100% of the assigned work load limit when wet.

Color Coded Materials Polyester webbing has a continuous blue surface marker to differentiate it from nylon webbing.

Treated Webbing  Resists degradation from rot, mold, seawater, oil and gasoline.

Wide Sling Widths The most delicate hull is gently cradled as its weight is distributed over a wide surface area

Flexible Lift-It Marine Slings adjust to contour of all types and sizes of hull configurations.

Lightweight Easy to store and handle

Large Selection Available sling options and corrosion resistant hardware.

Gentle Non-marring and non-abrasive.

Proof Test and Certification We recommend an annual proof test and certification of your slings.

For larger work load limits consider using Lift-It High Performance Fiber Slings.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT HOW TO ORDER

CODE B – BASKET HARDWAREAlloy steel fittings are permanently attached to the sling and plated for corrosion resistance. (Refer to “Aluminum and Steel Triangles” for fitting specifications) LEAD WEIGHTSLead Weights help Marine Slings sink and stay underwater for easier positioning.
CODE F – FLAT EYEFlat Eyes are oriented flat to the sling body. Please specify eye width if Flat Eyes are to be used with existing shackles. EDGE WRAPBulked Nylon is sewn around sling edge. Extra Eyes are available options forsingle ply slings. Extra Eyes are not available options for two ply slings.
DISCONNECTDisconnects allow removal of the sling from the boat, without detaching slings from lifting fixtures. Protective flap is automatically included.*Please specify location per diagram.
